My Class Is Not Running Normally
| |
If your class is running slowly where it will play the presentation normally for a few minuets and then it will freeze and spontaneously start playing again normally for a few more minuets, the class is running normally - it is just trying to play on a slow internet connection.
When the internet connection is on dial up what the program does is instead of trying to play the presentation and voice as soon as it downloads it will download a package of information, play it in its entirety and then download another package. It is downloading portions of the presentation because the internet connection is not fast enough to have a seamless play of the presentation.
The other situation that occasionally occurs is when you have watched the presentation seamlessly in the past, and you're viewing it now from the same computer and the same internet connection but it is freezing or moving very slow. This could be due to a system backup running on our end. We try to schedule the backup during a time that most individuals will not be affected by it however, it is an imperfect system. If this fits the description of your problem with playing the presentation, wait for a short period of time and come back to it later, the backup shouldn't take very long.
